Chary Hilu
Artista visual y Docente de artes plásticas
Vive y trabaja en Buenos Aires. Tiene su taller en el Microcentro porteño.
Es Profesora de Dibujo y Escultura en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón (1989).
Estudió dibujo y escultura en el taller de Juan Maffi (1985 a 1995).
Obtuvo el 2do Premio en el Concurso de Bocetos Escultóricos del Museo Perlotti (2017), Mención Especial de Dibujo de la Universidad Popular de La Boca (1996), 1er Premio en el Concurso de Bocetos Escultóricos del Museo Perlotti (1995), 1er Premio de Escultura en el Salón de la Juventud de San Isidro (1990), 1ª Mención en Escultura Salón SAAP de Adrogué (1990).
Realizó la muestra individual “Confinadas las almas” en la Fundación Ramseyer Dayer (2022) y muestras colectivas en la Municipalidad de Hurlingham (2021), el Centro Cultural Borges (2019), la Sociedad Argentina de Artistas Plásticos en Argentina (2020), Galería Palermo H (2022), Espacio Cultural Marco del Pont (2023) Museo Casa Carnacini (2023) MACAB (2023) Bolsa de Comercio de Buenos Aires (2023) Espacio Y Lugar cultural (2023)
Chary Hilu
Visual artist and arts teacher
Lives and works in Buenos Aires. She has her studio in the downtown area of the city.
She is a Drawing and Sculpture Professor at the Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts (1989).
She studied drawing and sculpture in Juan Maffi's workshop (1985 to 1995).
She won the 2nd Prize in the Sculptural Sketch Contest at the Perlotti Museum (2017), Special Mention in Drawing from the Popular University of La Boca (1996), 1st Prize in the Sculptural Sketch Contest at the Perlotti Museum (1995), 1st Prize in Sculpture at the Youth Salon of San Isidro (1990), 1st Mention in Sculpture at the SAAP Salon in Adrogué (1990).
She held the solo exhibition "Confined Souls" at the Ramseyer Dayer Foundation (2022) and participated in group exhibitions at the Hurlingham Municipality (2021), Borges Cultural Center (2019), Argentine Society of Plastic Artists in Argentina (2020), Palermo H Gallery (2022), Marco del Pont Cultural Space (2023), Carnacini House Museum (2023), MACAB (2023), Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (2023), and Y Lugar Cultural Space (2023).
